About Alvin Jornada


Alvin Jornada is a freelance editorial/documentary photographer in Northern California and contract photo editor for the San Francisco Chronicle. His editorial photography clients include European Pressphoto Agency, the Associated Press, San Francisco Chronicle, and The Press Democrat. From January 2013 to April 2014, he was an interim staff photojournalist at The Press Democrat newspaper in Santa Rosa, California.

Alvin earned a B.S. in Media Technology with an Emphasis in Photography from Andrews University. He is a member of the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA); San Francisco Bay Area Press Photographers Association (SFBAPPA); SportsShooter.com and Nikon Professional Services.
